As we come out of the season when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus, we are coming into the season of his passion, his death, his resurrection, and his ascension to be at the Father's right hand.

How often do you think about what this means for your and your loved one's lives?  Here we had a man in his prime, get convicted out of jealousy, hung on a cross, and die for our sins.  In many ways this is beyond understanding.  The question of why, and is normally followed by the comment that I did not ask him to do that!

One of the society norms of Jesus' day was that when someone did something, it reflected on the whole community.  If someone stole something, it reflected badly on all of that person's neighbors.  When someone did something great for someone, this reflected wonderfully on those same neighbors.

We seldom realize that our actions have the same effect.  If we see someone stranded along side the road, do we stop or do we just keep on going?  Here the age old question of "What would Jesus do?" comes into play.  We are all called to help others who are in need.  If another biker is broken down along the road side, stop, and ask if there is anything you can do to help, as this reflects on all of us who are riders.

Blessings!
