100% Chapter Participation Recognition - Each ALR Chapter must have at least ONE (1) representative in each of the required DOG ALR events. We know that everyone has local events, people work, bikes are in the shop, etc, etc, but only ONE member is required. Members of the DOG ALR Executive Committee (State Director, State Assistant Directors, District Directors and Past State Director) are excluded, because we expect them to make every effort to participate in these events. Presentations will occur at the Department Convention Rally each year. 2026/2027 Requirements:
- In-State Legacy & Retreat at Post 82 Ellijay - Fri, Sep 25th, 2026 to Sun, Sep 27th, 2026.
- National President’s Visit – Sun, Oct 18th, 2026 to Thur, Oct 22nd, 2026.
- National Commander’s Visit – Mid-Winter Conference, Tybee Island, Fri, Jan 15th, 2027 to Sun, Jan 17th, 2027
- Department Mid-Winter Conference ALR Meeting – Sat, Jan 16th, 2027.
- VA Veteran Transition From Homelessness Benefit – Sun, Apr 25th, 2027
- Ride For America – Mon, May 31st, 2027
- Boys & Girls State Ride & Visit – Thur, Jun 17th, 2027
- DOG ALR Rally at Convention – Sat, Jun 26th, 2027
- Out of 8 events, at least 7 must be attended for 100% participation Revised 06/30/2026
